Job Summary
Accelerated, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to manage various logistics and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering shipment data into our system, tracking and tracing customer freight, and providing timely quotes and rate configurations. This role includes advising customers on shipping delays, issuing proof of delivery, and maintaining organized filing systems. Additionally, the candidate will conduct warehouse and dock checks, verify freight, manage dock inventory, and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and efficient shipping process.
**First and Second Shifts Available**
- Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Tuesday - Friday 4:00 pm & Saturday 11 am
Responsibilities
- Input shipment data into the system.
- Track and trace customer freight, configure rates, provide quotes, and handle pickup requests while routing and booking freight as needed.
- Inform customers of any shipping delays and dispatch points.
- Label freight
- Issue proof of delivery.
- Maintain organized filing systems.
- Conduct warehouse and dock checks as requested.
- Count and verify freight upon request.
- Manage dock inventory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes, freight shipping, and transportation regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM software and freight management systems.
- Meticulous with data entry and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Familiarity with shipment tracking and logistics software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly convey information to customers and team members.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges.
