Position Summary:
Consult Coordinators play a critical role in ensuring that our mission is successful. You will work remote in a fast-paced environment that can best be described as a 24/7 “virtual hospital.” Coordinators manage requests from client hospitals and physicians providing support to ensure excellence in patient care. Coordinators will assist with the preparation of the consults for dispatch.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively communicate with hospital clinical staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to hospitals and to Access TeleCare physicians.
- Facilitate and confirm timely hand off to Tier 1 IT support.
- Demonstrate service excellence in meeting and exceeding all metrics outlined on performance index scorecard.
- Maintains a favorable, collaborative, and professional working relationship with all departments to ensure efficient working environment to achieve company’s mission.
- Comply with all compliance and HIPAA requirements.
- May be needed to answer incoming calls and accurately document patient information.
- Other tasks as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification Required
- At least one year of experience working in a call center environment or healthcare or IT
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to learn software and systems
- Enthusiastic about being on the forefront of healthcare and impacting patient lives positively
- Have excellent phone/customer service skills along with high attention to detail
Working Environment:
- 100% Remote
- Coordination Center.
- This is a full-time position; 40 hours weeks
- The consult coordination center operates 24/7 and does require weekends and holidays.

Position Summary:
The Licensing Specialist processes license requests for Physicians and other medical providers. Licensing representatives’ partner with internal teams, providers, and state medical Boards to assist in obtaining state licenses for medical providers. Responsible for compiling required documents, researching necessary information, and interacting with licensing boards and physicians to obtain medical licenses in states where providers may be placed on assignment.
Essential Functions:
- Compiles documents, researches, and verifies provider backgrounds, acts as liaison between medical board and providers obtaining updates on the status of applications and reporting progress.
- Updates status of license applications in database so other teams can access information throughout licensing process.
- Requests and verifies documentation and information pertaining to provider credentials and certifications for licensure.
- Communicates with boards regarding licensure qualifications and specific licensing questions and updates state profiles accordingly.
- Interact professionally with state licensing boards, teammates, physicians, representatives, and internal teams.
- Effectively manage large amounts of information and documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all physician files.
- Other projects as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year work experience in Medical Licensing is preferred.
- At least two years’ experience in Medical Staff Services required.
- Experience in a fast-paced team environment that requires decision-making and problem solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications
- Professional level written and oral communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritization skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and proven accuracy with record keeping.
- Ability to work independently.
- CPCS certification preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
- Experience in the telemedicine or hospital credentialing environment preferred
- Work Experience in the healthcare or staffing industries
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
