Experienced Dispatcher

Acme Distribution is seeking a highly organized and experienced Dispatcher with a strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance, including the use of electronic logs. This position will involve coordinating daily schedules for drivers, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth operations for our fleet of 28 trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch local drivers and ensure timely and efficient routing
Assist in scheduling and coordinating delivery appointments
Manage customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Handle general office tasks as needed
Establish and maintain professional communication with drivers
Accept loads from load boards and ensure all necessary paperwork is processed
Track containers on the rail and ensure timely deliveries
Make motel reservations for drivers as needed
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, including electronic logging
Assist in fleet management and operational efficiency

Qualifications:
Proven experience in dispatching and coordinating daily schedules
Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging systems
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with drivers and clients
Experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) and truckload dispatching is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Location: 18101 E Colfax Ave Aurora, CO 80011

Salary: $55,000 - $59,000 per year

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with rotating on-call weekends
