SUMMARY:
The success of an organization is based on having the right talent to achieve its business goals. Therefore, Talent Acquisition (TA) and the TA Recruiter is a critical partner in fueling business growth and helping to ensure departments are adequately resourced.
The TA Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers for qualified applicants who have the requisite skills and cultural fit for our organization. The primary responsibility is to ensure a seamless recruiting process for both leaders and candidates, and to help us build a diverse and high-performing workforce using a variety of tools and methods in accordance with company policy, EEO guidelines and sound HR practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY AND PLANNING:
· Uses consultative strategies and best-in-class talent acquisition practices/tools with hiring managers to understand business needs, and to develop recruiting strategies that will source and secure a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
SOURCING AND BUILDING TALENT PIPELINES:
· Utilize various sourcing methods and tools including job boards, social media, professional associations, employee referrals, career fairs, cold calling, and networking to identify a diverse pool of potential candidates for current and future business needs.
SCREENING AND SELECTION:
· Reviews resumes and applications in a timely manner according to SLAs to evaluate qualifications and fit for open positions.
· Conducts initial phone screen to evaluate candidate motivation, experience, and cultural alignment.
· Manages the hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the process through communication to ensure positions are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Track and update Recruiting Software system to keep candidate disposition current and to maintain accurate records for internal metrics as well as regulatory reporting requirements.
INTERVIEWING AND EVALUATION:
· Schedule, coordinate and assist leaders to conduct behavioral interviews to assess skills, competencies, and cultural fit with Addition Financial using appropriate assessment methodologies.
· Provide timely and constructive feedback to hiring managers and candidates.
OFFER PROCESS:
· Identifies in advance (as able) an appropriate salary range to attract and to offer a competitive compensation package to candidates.
· Presents, negotiates, and finalizes offers to candidates within a timely basis.
· Once offer has been accepted, assist new hire with required onboarding paperwork.
TALENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
· Keep candidates apprised of status throughout the recruitment process to build and maintain a strong relationship and positive image of Addition Financial.
· Maintain future contact, as able, to encourage diverse candidates to consider other opportunities for which they may be better qualified for.
MARKET RESEARCH AND TRENDS:
· Stay current on industry, competitive information and best practices in sourcing and recruitment practices to continue to partner with hiring managers to attract talent.
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve on recruitment practices and sourcing methodologies.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies throughout the recruiting process.
· Provides ad hoc reports, metrics, and industry information to hiring managers to assist in planning and forecasting of recruitment needs.
OTHER DUTIES:
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Must have the ability to always maintain a high level of confidentiality throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
Education:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations is also required.
Experience:
· A minimum of three (3) years of TA experience is desired; with two (2) years of experience required.
· Essential understanding of recruiting processes and sourcing strategy is required.
· Must have an ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Positive and effective communication skills required to communicate professionally, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
· Professional certifications in HR or Recruitment desired.
Any applicable system or program knowledge:
· Must have basic computer skills (such as MS Office) and ability to generate reports for leadership.
· Essential experience with applicant tracking systems is required.
