* **Core Responsibilities:
- Answering Phones: The primary function is to answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Multitasking is key to this position
- Providing Information: They answer questions about the practice, procedures, and patient information (within HIPAA guidelines).
- Scheduling Appointments: They schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of the doctor's time.
- Directing Calls: They connect callers to the appropriate staff member or department.
- Taking Messages: They accurately record and relay messages to the appropriate personnel. This is to be done through the EMR system and tasks.
- Handling Inquiries: They address routine inquiries and provide basic information to callers. With appropriate follow up on tasks
- Maintaining a Professional Image: They represent the medical practice positively and ensure a positive patient experience.
* **Additional Duties:
- Greeting Patients: They may also be responsible for greeting patients at the reception desk.
- Basic Office Tasks: They may assist with other clerical tasks, such as filing or scanning forms and medical billing.
- Working with Medical Software: They may be required to use electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software for scheduling and patient management this also includes working with incoming faxes, emails and other light duties for the practice.
Work Schedule : in office Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to to 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
