From data acquisition to asset analysis, we are a full service geospatial solutions provider to our clients in Forestry, Agriculture, Utility, and Commercial industries.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Forestry Product Manager & Sales Lead to oversee our AI-driven forestry initiatives. This role involves managing ongoing projects, ensuring client success, and leading sales efforts to expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, project management experience, and strong sales acumen to grow our AI forestry division.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Client Relations (50%)
- Work directly with the owner to oversee the execution of AI forestry projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including drone operators, AI engineers, and analysts, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyze project data and deliver insights to clients in a clear and actionable manner.
- Continuously improve workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Assess and perform quality control finalization on forestry products
Sales & Business Development (50%)
- Identify and target potential clients in forestry, conservation, land management, and related industries.
- Develop outreach strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking at industry events.
- Present and demonstrate AI solutions to potential clients, showcasing their value in improving forestry management.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to grow the company’s client base.
- Track and report sales performance and manage client databases
Qualifications:
- Experience in forestry, environmental science, or AI-driven analytics is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in project management, business development, or sales (preferably in technology or forestry sectors).
- Strong understanding of AI applications in forestry, remote sensing, or GIS technology is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.
- Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and sales tracking systems.
