Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Property Accountant to join our AHRA accounting team. In this role, you'll work closely with our property managers, delivering accurate financial reports, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring seamless accounting processes for a diverse portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned properties, ensuring financial integrity.
- Craft insightful monthly management reports for both commercial and multifamily properties, offering clarity and transparency.
- Develop annual property budgets that align with the needs and goals of our clients.
- Manage general ledger processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to guide property management decisions and strategies.
- Provide responsive support by addressing client and management inquiries regarding financial transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile triple net (NNN) estimates for tenant accounts, promoting transparency and trust.
- Generate loan reporting documents to meet lender requirements, supporting our clients’ financial objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in public accounting or the real estate industry.
- Strong grounding in accounting principles with a knack for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus!
