Salary: $117,962 – $153,354 based on experience

In this position, you will serve as an Interpersonal and Self-Directed Violence (ISDV) Prevention Program Evaluation specialist to conduct site visits and prepare formal reports to provide data-driven insights to guide violence prevention programs for the Integrated Resilience Office in the Department of the Air Force (DAF). The Integrated Resilience office is responsible for the overall management, guidance, and implementation of public laws, development of DAF policies, and policy oversight concerning interpersonal and self-direct violence, which includes sexual assault prevention and response, domestic violence, child maltreatment, workplace violence and suicide and resiliency.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Secret” Security clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required credentials for the position
- Incumbent must meet screening/suitability criteria listed in Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) guidance. Degree Requirements:
- Degree: At least a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR
- Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- Knowledge of a wide range of social science qualitative and quantitative research, scientific methodologies, training theory, and skill development to enhance the delivery of policies, programs, and practices that are aimed at increasing resiliency for the Force and families.
- Knowledge of the Public Health prevention model to include thorough understanding of primary prevention, knowledge of behavioral health theories and principles, protective factors, proactive prevention, and resiliency.
- Knowledge of the DAF command structure, mission, programs, and organizational relationships plus a comprehensive knowledge of the legislation, laws, regulations, and initiatives that affect resilience related issues and execute complex studies that involve multiple locations, a variety of programs, and numerous issues.

- Ability to interpret and implement DAF and DoD policies and procedures and to develop regulations and operating instructions in the absence of defined guidelines sufficient to achieve an effective resilience program.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a healthy and culturally sensitive manner on various working groups, projects, and activities to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of DAF primary prevention programs.
- Knowledge and experience within primary prevention
- Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
