Summary
The AutoCAD template associate will use computer-aided drafting software to create
templates/blueprints and, in addition to proficiency with software, they must have a
solid knowledge of the principles behind non-computerized drafting techniques.

templates/blueprints and, in addition to proficiency with software, they must have a
solid knowledge of the principles behind non-computerized drafting techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive laser templated jobs and measurements from template techs and
- Produces rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed
- Adjust CAD and physical drawings for internal sales members and Builders for
- Convert physical templates to CAD drawings, accurately.
- Can template to the trade at a high level under some supervision (Level I)
- Fully operate AutoCAD and LT-55 laser for Trade, Retail, and Commercial
- Updates software, drawings, and other documents as needed.
- Remains professional when feedback is delivered and implements any changes to
- Ensures drawings are compliant with standards and engineering principles.
- Communicates potential design issues to production/operations management as
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; some college/tech school preferred.
- AutoCAD experience is required. Construction background preferred.
- Proficient in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Outlook)
- High-level of detail orientation required.
- Basic math skills required.
- Strong communication and problem resolution skills required.
- Must be able to read a measuring tape.
Salary : $35,700 - $45,200
