What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Process Analyst position at Ally Financial?
Under the general direction of the Business Process Director and Team Lead, the Business Process Analyst is responsible for providing daily support for the SmartAuction and white label websites. This position is primarily responsible for monitoring of vendor activities and performance, vendor invoice tracking and processing, general day-to-day internal & external customer support, support operationalization of new programs and processes, and mitigating and escalating of risks.
The Work Itself
Provide superior customer experience ensuring all vendor supporting activities, escalations to support mailbox, are handled professionally, timely, and accurately.
Processing of invoices, incentives, and/or rebates timely and accurately.
Bring operational and vendor maintenance/monitoring expertise to support implementation of new operational processes and/or enhancements to existing processes.
Key customer support ensuring we’re exceeding expectations.
Identification and clear escalation of potential risks and issues to leadership.
Ensures all desk policy and procedures are maintained and accurate.
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
The Skills You Bring
Type of prior related experience:
College graduate with business-related degree preferred.
Customer Service experience is preferred (2 years).
Special skills/abilities/competencies required:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including MS word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Must be critical thinker and effectively troubleshoot issues to identify solutions to customer needs.
Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills.
Projects a professional phone and email manner.
Possesses excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
Completes multiple tasks and assignments with minimal supervision.
Maintains high levels of motivation, performance, and personal integrity aligned with Ally’s corporate values.
Identifies areas for continuous improvement and make recommendations and/or implement solutions.
Is dependable and reliable.
