We are a small, family-run business looking for a highly professional and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our hardworking team. This role is critical in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, so we need someone reliable, organized, and ready to take ownership of the job. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Payments: Accurately process and record all incoming payments.
- Vendor Invoices & Payments: Review, process, and pay all vendor invoices on time.
- Deposit Transactions: Maintain precise records of all deposits for reconciliation.
- Record Keeping: Keep meticulous records of all customer and vendor transactions.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure customer and vendor information is up to date and error-free.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of accuracy and responsibility in all financial tasks.
- Attendance & Reliability: This is an in-office position where showing up every day is a must—we all count on each other.
- Cross-Training & Adaptability: Since we’re a small team, you’ll be expected to learn additional duties outside your primary role and periodically take on new tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable or bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving, sometimes demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual—we need someone who takes their job seriously.
- Willingness to be flexible and jump in wherever needed.
