This position will serve as the point of contact and liaison for assigned retirement plan implementations and/or conversions. It will provide responsive and pro-active customer service at the group level. In this role, you will be a resource for subject matter expertise on retirement plans and the implementation processes.
Core Duties:
1. Develop and manage project plans incorporating relevant timelines and milestones
2. Address issues that impact execution of project plan
3. Perform reviews of system set up and other components that require compliance with departmental standards
4. Provide guidance on technical issues to various team members to execute project
5. Share relevant information on milestones, obstacles and final outcome of projects
6. Identifies out of scope services and escalates as needed to ensure all services are included in pricing
7. Models Customer Service Excellence within Implementation
8. Executes delegated tasks and work
9. Identifies training needs within the team and escalates to management
10. Maintain professional relationships with internal/external clients to successfully achieve business needs. 11. Pro-actively partner with both internal and external clients to resolve challenges.
12. Facilitate the prevention of errors by performing testing and quality control.
13. Initiate timely communication to internal/external clients through various methods (telephone and/or email)
14. Assist manager with overflow workloads
15. Assist with quality review for fellow team members
16. Work on rotating team assignments
17. Project work and research as needed
Performance objectives
1. Have a level of expertise to help direct the project team to success
2. Identify and understand challenges to pro actively address them
3. Effectively communicate to clients, field team and management statuses of project(s)
5. Understand challenges and be able to effectively resolve
6. Efficient and effective conduct during implementations
7. Review final agreements for system setup based on segment model and performs first level of quality review of client deliverables
Position Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or four years related work experience.
2. Strong client management and application of retirement plan record keeping systems.
3. Solid knowledge of pension plan types and a knowledge of defined contribution plan daily valuation record keeping systems is preferred
4. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
5. Ability to analyze data, determines the root cause, and provides and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution
