What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Specialist position at Ameriprise Financial?
Assist Financial Advisors and our team in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on delivering a referrable client experience that defines and differentiates our Practice by creating "WOW" moments for our clients.
This role interacts regularly with clients. Candidate should either currently hold a Series 7 license or be willing to work on becoming licensed.
This is an in-person, support role located in our Concord office and includes a relatively equal amount of client service, operations, and team support. Our goal is to provide a premium client experience with exceptional efficiency.
This role is intentionally designed to be on an administrative track with increasing responsibilities in operations and practice management. If you are looking for a financial advising position, this is not the role for you.
Qualifications
- Strong internal and external relationship management skills
- High level of organization and resource management
- Effective communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to learn proprietary tools
- Previous experience in office administration, operations, client service
- All education levels considered, but some college preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
