Become the NEW Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Washington Hospital Healthcare System in picturesque city of Fremont, California!

The Position

• The Director of Systemwide Revenue Cycle will be responsible for the operational oversight and strategic development of the Revenue Cycle departments at the Hospital and Professional Foundation within the Washington Hospital Healthcare System
• Reporting to the Chief of Revenue Cycle Management, this leader will oversee a team of four direct reports and approximately 65 FTEs.
• This newly created position offers tremendous growth potential, providing an opportunity to develop a unique and enduring framework.
• The leader will play a pivotal role in advancing the department's technological capabilities, including setting up new API interfaces. Additionally, this leader will focus on maintaining and improving KPIs, and will conduct a thorough evaluation of the department to identify goals and areas for productivity enhancement.
• Ideal candidates will be hands-on, knowledgeable, and collaborative leaders with a solid understanding of business development. Expertise with Medi-Cal and Medicare is essential.
• This position requires an onsite leader, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement in the future.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A Certified Manager of Patient Accounts (HFMA) is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of five years of management experience within a hospital and professional billing office is required, including at least three years of director-level responsibilities.
  
  
  

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $173,000 to $258,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

• Washington Hospital Healthcare System has made tremendous upgrades and expansions to critical care, emergency services, med/surg, imaging, labor & delivery, and OR.
