Responsibilities:
Financial and Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintain and balance the general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Create and process payroll and tax filings
- Provide support during annual audits
Administrative Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individuals
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and filing.
- Manage office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with order entry and processing
- Provide employee support and address inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative and/or bookkeeping roles
- Associate degree or Higher
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Xero or similar accounting software
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with technical accounting procedures and regulations including tax laws
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools
- Previous experience in public accounting or managing multiple client accounts is a plus

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in travel coordination and handling confidential information is a plus
