Job Description

• :Perform timely and accurate preparation of payroll for the company via ADP Workforce Now for more than 30 multi-state branche
• sEnsuring 7,000 employees are paid timely, accurately and in compliance with state laws and company policie
• sVerifies that time records have been entered and imported into the payroll system accurately and timel
• ySet up, process, and verify off-cycle checks, bonuses, voids, and reissue
• sRun weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports for multiple business units and multiple department
• sVerifies that all associate action changes, bonuses, terminations, retro-pays, W-4 changes, direct deposits, garnishments and child support orders, and travel related expenses have been entered into the payroll system accurately and timel
• yDevelops, recommends, and implements process improvements when identifie
• dPerform and complete Quarterly and Year-End duties for accurate reportin
• gMake recommendations to the Payroll Director and team to help strengthen departmental controls, processes, and system
• sResearch, review, and respond to union requests on a daily basi
• sRespond in a timely manner to all forms submitted for Verification of employmen
• tMaintain the highest standards of accuracy, precision, discretion, and confidentialit

Requirements:

• In office, 5 days per week
• .Bachelor’s Degre
• e2 - 4 years multi-state Payroll experienc
• eADP WorkForce Now experience preferre
• dUnderstanding of local, state, and federal payroll and payroll tax law
• sAbility to work independently with strong time management and organization skills, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely every payroll cycl
• eDemonstrated focus on listening to and understanding internal customer
• sProven capability to execute with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and partnershi
• pAdvanced knowledge of PC applications principally Excel and other MS Office product
• sCOVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemptio
