Automotive Service Advisor/Writer

An effective Service Advisor will acknowledge customers promptly in the showroom, shop and on the phone. Service Advisor will be courteous, accommodating and handle themselves professionally at all times. Service Advisor must possess thorough knowledge in the field of automotive service and repairs, outstanding product knowledge to establish repeat clientele. Initiate follow up calls to customers. When not corresponding with customers, Service Advisor will organize the counter, file paperwork and match up invoices with statements and maintain the showroom area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Promotes sales of tires, repairs and maintenance
• Preparing customer repair estimates, making repairs and reminding customers of necessary preventive and scheduled maintenance
• Be competent team member which is performance driven and delivers outstanding customer service.
• Reconcile sales with cash register receipts, cash and charge slips.
• Prepare daily operating reports for Store Manager.
• Leads and participates, as needed, in customer service functions such as safety procedures, inventory control and employee paperwork.
• Is responsible and a driving force in maintaining a neat, clean and attractive store appearance, as well as performing necessary maintenance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standing, walking, bending and stretching are regularly required in all aspects of the business.

• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.

• Ability to develop instant rapport with customers.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Working Knowledge of Computer and Internet Usage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
