Job Title: Director of Admissions – Submit the applications to schools, International Student Recruitment & Private School Partnerships
Position Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and strategic Director of Admissions to lead our international student recruitment efforts and build strong relationships with private schools across the United States. This individual will play a vital role in expanding our global reach, increasing student enrollment, and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our partner schools.
Key Responsibilities: International Student Recruitment
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract qualified international students.
- Collaborate with overseas agents, educational consultants, and sub-agencies in various countries.
- Represent the organization at international education fairs, virtual events, and recruitment tours.
- Oversee the application process, ensuring timely communication and guidance for prospective students and families.
- Submit complete and accurate student application documents to private schools, ensuring each school's specific requirements and deadlines are met.
Private School Partnerships
- Establish, maintain, and grow partnerships with private high schools and boarding schools throughout the United States.
- Serve as the main liaison between partner schools and the organization, ensuring alignment on student placements, host family arrangements, and academic expectations.
- Regularly communicate with school administrators to understand their admission criteria and program updates.
- Organize campus visits and virtual tours for international students and parents.
Leadership & Strategy
- Monitor admission metrics, enrollment trends, and regional needs to make data-driven decisions.
- Lead and mentor the admissions and recruitment team to achieve enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain compliance with SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) and ensure all visa documentation and procedures are up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, International Relations, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international student recruitment or private school admissions.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. private school system and F-1 visa process.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
- Fluent in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
