Regional Electrical Contractor Seeking Project Managers
Pay: To commensurate with experience but TOP PAY AVAILABLE
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience as Assistant PM or Project Manager in Commercial or Industrial electrical field.
- Master Electrician, equivalent bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or construction management.
- Possess a thorough understanding of NEC code requirements for Commercial and Industrial applications.
- Possess a thorough understanding of computers and computer software including but not limited to Windows, MS Project, MS Excell, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
Above standard requirements:
- Capability to use AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks
- Experience with BIM & BIM coordination
- Understanding of commercial and industrial construction process
- Experience with the mission critical data center field
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Assist with project bid estimates and change order proposals
- Read blueprints, specifications and NEC
- Travel to complete site visits and/or meetings with customers and owners
- Always maintain a high level of professionalism
- Develop client relationships to create more business for firm
- Learn quickly company specific software such as McCormick Estimating, Autocad viewer, Accubid Estimating etc.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously each from $10k to over $5 million
- Hire, train and supervise electricians, foremen and office support staff
- Read and create project schedules
- Direct support staff on project needs
- Plan for upcoming schedule milestone and target dates
- Monitor job progress and make necessary changes to meet goals
- Monitor job costs and complete Job Cost Projections weekly
