Purpose: To provide functional support and responsibility for multiple projects as an estimator in the Sales Department
- Duties: (Include physical aspects of job here, i.e. continuous lifting up to 30 lbs., also remember to include special projects)
- Coordinating multiple estimates simultaneously as well as review responsibility for multiple
- estimates or large estimates
- Establishing and maintaining an estimating department evaluation procedures
- Assisting operations to select projects to bid
- Establishing and coordinating bidding schedule
- Reviewing project to develop win strategy
- Reviewing pricing and scheduling
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with owners/purchasing managers, consultants, subs and suppliers
- Reviewing project cost reports
- Developing and maintaining estimating systems and procedures
- Conducting post-bid review
- Assisting and/or leading in proposal preparation, presentation and securing new work
- Assisting and/or leading design-build projects
- Assist with inventory

- Minimum Qualifications: (include skill requirements in addition to any relevant education)
- College Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 2 years direct experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere, but also independently without supervision.
- Organizational Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Familiarity with commercial and residential blueprints
- Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction
- Thorough understanding of construction, contracts and terminology
- Problem Solving and Communication Skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to use estimating software to include order entry software and experience with Biztrack
- Bilingual
