What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler / Front Desk Receptionist (Part Time - Mornings) position at Apex Pediatric Therapy Services?
Apex Pediatric Therapy Services provides ABA, speech and occupational therapy services to children and adolescents. We are currently looking for a positive, creative and energetic scheduler / receptionist to work from 7:30am to 10:30am Monday to Friday.
Role and Responsibilities
- Front desk receptionist activities
- Manage therapists’ schedules as per the need of the clients
- Keep all schedules up to date on the scheduling system
- Arrange coverage for therapists’ cancellations
- Manage continuity of care as new therapists join and others exit
- Maintain upcoming time off schedule and ensure coverage for time offs for short term and long term needs
- Address clients’ request for schedule changes as and when needed
- Keep the facilities organized and clean at all times
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Proven history of customer-centric approach
- Prior scheduling experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing schedule related needs while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent organization, planning, prioritization and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
