Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support and technical assistance to our users, ensuring smooth operation of systems and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, including Windows and Linux, as well as experience with help desk operations and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for IT-related issues, troubleshooting problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Assist users with Windows Server and other operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Utilize help desk tools such as Jira to track issues, manage tickets, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Perform routine maintenance on systems and applications to prevent issues before they arise.
- Manage user accounts through Active Directory, including creating, modifying, and deleting accounts as necessary.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical problems and improve service delivery.
- Document processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in IT support.
Experience
- Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles is required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and various operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Familiarity with help desk software (preferably Jira) for ticket management.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts is a plus.
- Experience with Active Directory management is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users at all levels.
