Job Description
The Renovation and Accounting Assistant position is part-time in our main office in Raleigh, NC. The position requires an assertive, highly organized, multi-tasking individual who does well in an ever-changing environment. This individual will work in 3 different departments, assisting the CSO and Accounting Manager.
Requirements:
- Must possess at least 2 years of office experience, including customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, QB Desktop, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Familiarity with Canva is a plus
- Experience with some accounting is a plus
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities
- Uphold the Aquatic Management Group standard of customer service and attention to detail.
- Assist in maintaining office organization and cleanliness. For example, take out the trash, water plants, and restock restrooms.
Renovation Assistant Duties
- Maintain schedule for all renovation projects for the entire renovation department to follow
- This will consist of keeping track of each job task at each renovation site via Google Sheets
- Maintain CSO’s work schedule via Google Calendar
- Maintain all updates for CSO’s laptop
- Assist in answering phone calls and emails for CSO
- Proofread Renovation proposals
- Reconcile CSO’s credit card receipts
- Communicate with renovation vendors and subcontractors to ensure projects are on schedule, accounts are reconciled, and orders are placed on time.
Accounting Duties
- Collect and code all Renovation/Repair Team employee’s credit card receipts
- Job Costing for Renovations
- Maintain specific Accounts Receivables by billing for monthly contracts, repair items, seasonal inspection items, sales tax, etc.
- Track repair invoicing submissions via internal communication software and Google Sheets
- Assist with monthly management contract billing reconciliation
- Assist with collecting past due AR.
- Accounting related filing
- Assist with payroll processing duties
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
