The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager at AREA15 is to drive revenue by selling corporate and private event sales. Focused on enhancing guest experiences, the Sales Manager will help execute comprehensive sales strategies, implement innovative marketing initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves leading customer acquisition efforts related to AREA15's offerings and requires creativity, innovation, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate should bring sales experience in the entertainment and music events industry, along with a profound understanding of the Las Vegas market.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Collaborate closely with event, operations, attractions, and retail teams for seamless alignment of sales and revenue initiatives.
- Meet individual sales goal.
- Help Develop and execute strategic marketing programs targeting locals, tourists, and convention business.
- Generate corporate and private event sales leads
- Build and maintain the customer loyalty program to boost foot traffic and revenue.
- Optimize product packaging for corporate sales, engaging B2B businesses in long-term partnerships.
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns to build awareness and drive visitation.
- Foster relationships with key figures in the Las Vegas tourism and hospitality industry.
- Work collaboratively with joint-venture businesses within AREA15 to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Events, Operations, Activations, and Retail to drive foot traffic and increase revenue.
- Help develop, review, update, and implement strategic planning of the business, including sales and financial performance. Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including the evaluation of KPIs/ROI.
- Proactively keep abreast of current trends and events in marketing, social technologies, new media, and relevant industries (i.e., themed and immersive entertainment).
- Help develop, create, and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from corporate and private event sales.
- Maintain and prioritize multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines.
- Effectively meet deadlines at expected quality.
- Exhibit ART! (AREA15’s service standards) at all times.
- Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters and ensure timely responses.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales in entertainment, music events, hotel, or attraction industry with a strong track record of success; Las Vegas experience preferred.
- Established relationships with key hospitality management in Las Vegas are ideal.
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, with high financial literacy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and collaborate with multiple business units.
- Current or recent business and market experience directing sales for both group and leisure segments.
- Physical ability to lift 25lbs, stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality.
- Ability to commute between office and venue(s).
- Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
