Position Summary:
The Events Manager will participate/coordinate/supervise in the implementation of event planning/coordination process and activities at First National Bank Arena (FNB Arena)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Interacts with and maintain rapport with clients, their associates and service providers
Guide clients in preparation of their events in regards to facility rules and regulations
Assist in deadline schedules relative to event diagrams, floor plans, set up specifications/requirements, insurance requirements, and other relevant event details
Maintains high level of communication with clients/customers before, during and after their event
Responds to clients/customers requests, concerns or issues
Serve as Manager on Duty when requested
Attends appropriate meetings, organizational and other event and facility meetings in support of venue operations
Provide budget/cost analysis of event to clients/customers and other FNB Arena staff
Reports to the Director of FNB Arena
Secures/coordinates pertinent event information including but not limited to:Physical set up
Audio/Visual Needs
Staffing Requirements
Ticketing/i.e. Box Office Information
Settlement/Billing Information
Creates and Distributes Event Information to FNB Arena personnel and Contracted Services as needed
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of Venue Management and Event Production
Must have excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects
Demonstrate problem-solving skills
Possess a professional appearance, work ethic, and integrity
Must possess quality computer skills
Preferred to possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to understand and create CAD Drawings for events
*If individual is familiar with CAD Drawings but needs additional training, FNB Arena will provide training. Individual must be willing to be trained and become capable of producing CAD Drawings
CAD drawing experience is a PLUS
General Days/Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Additional Hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g.; nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Two (2) years experience (part-time or full-time) in venue management, event management, event planning, event coordination, or event production
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
