Experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Insurance and Verification Specialist for a busy cardiology office in Ft. Lauderdale.

Requirements:
Front Desk duties such as checking patients in, entering demographics, scheduling, chart prep, pulling/putting back charts, collecting patient’s financial responsibility, knowledge with insurances (authorizations, verification of benefits) scanning, and other assigned duties. Must be a team player and computer literate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overall front desk management, assisting with patient check-in/out, processing payment, answer multiple phone lines
- Monitor patient flow to ensure the clinic is operating efficiently including monitoring wait times and during the check-in process.
- Assist with daily clinic operations including ensuring the clinic is opened and closed in an appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all financial policies, timekeeping/attendance, established practices, and standards are followed.
- Assist with managing individual or team performance including managing patient issues or complaints and providing necessary follow-up training to staff when needed.
