This role is an exciting opportunity to serve as a House Manager while also providing essential direct care.

In this position, you will lead and manage a dedicated team of 13 employees who are committed to empowering individuals in their daily lives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing health and wellness initiatives, ensuring we meet or exceed Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals, facilitating vibrant social and recreational opportunities, and securing community access. You will also play a vital role in medication administration, attending and documenting medical appointments, and ensuring compliance with all Department of Developmental Services (DDS) standards. Collaborating closely with the Coordinator of Residential Services, you will be at the forefront of creating a positive living environment.

Your focus will be on training staff effectively, setting a positive example, and ensuring that each shift’s plans, along with the preferences and choices of the individuals we support, are upheld and executed with care.

This position typically follows a 40-hour schedule from Monday to Friday, but your willingness to be flexible in emergencies and staffing shortages will be key to our success and the well-being of those we serve.is primarily a House Manager position with additional direct care responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising and managing employees who support the individuals in all activities of daily living, including health and wellness, meeting or exceeding ISP goals, supporting social/recreational opportunities and community access, medication administration, attending and documenting medical appointments, and maintaining compliance with all DDS requirements. The House Manager will work under the direction of the Coordinator of Residential Services.

The House Manager's responsibilities center around training staff by being a participant and role model and ensuring that the plans for any shift, as well as the choices and preferences of the individuals, are respected and implemented.

The typical 40-hour schedule is Monday through Friday, with the need to be flexible in response to emergencies and staffing shortages.

Experience:

-- Associates Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or related field-required

--Direct Care or related work experience preferred.

License:

--Driver's License, CPR/First Aid, Med Aide (Required)

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
