TITLE: Sr. HR Program Manager
LOCATION: Seattle, WA (Hybrid!)
TYPE: Contract (12 months)
PAY: $80 - $85/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Sr. HR Program Manager for an established and reputable forestry company. This role will support the HCM Transformation Program managing transitions related to the HR Service Center, the HRIST and HRIT, and developing a workforce management team.
- Design and execute a structured workforce transition plan, including governance, framework, and timeline.
- Partner with HR, IT, and WFM leadership to ensure workforce transition strategies align with business goals.
- Evaluate employees' skills, capabilities, and competencies to align with future role requirements.
- Integrate workforce transition initiatives with broader HR, IT, and WFM transformation objectives.
- Develop a framework to anticipate future capability needs and address skill gaps proactively.
- Strategically match employees to new roles based on their existing strengths and by upskilling and reskilling during employee transition.
- Retain and redeploy critical talent within HR, IT, and WFM functions.
- Implement targeted strategies to recruit new talent for areas with identified skill shortages.
- Effectively communicate transition plans to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with training, change management, and communications teams to drive seamless transitions.
- Establish key performance indicators to assess the success of workforce transition efforts.
- Monitor employee movement, training impact, and overall workforce preparedness.
- Ensure long-term sustainability of the new organizational structure post-implementation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in workforce planning, HR transformation, or change management.
- Experience leading large-scale workforce transitions or organizational change initiatives.
- Experience working with HR Service Centers, WFM Centers of Excellence, and HRIS/HRIT teams.
- Ability to analyze capability gaps and develop talent strategies to address them.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and adoption.
- Experience in developing and executing training, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Familiarity with HR systems like UKG or PeopleSoft.
- Background in industries with complex workforce management and HR transformation highly desired.
