Collections Director

We are seeking a Collections Director to oversee our Collections Department, including Customer Service and Collections teams. The ideal candidate is a professional (Spanish/English) with strong leadership skills, experience in collections, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsabilities

• Lead and supervise the Collections Department, ensuring efficiency and goal achievement.
• Train, mentor, and manage supervisors and team members.
• Monitor department performance and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Oversee escalated customer concerns and develop strategies for retention.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Research & Development and Operations, to improve processes.
• Supervise accounts related to bankruptcies, charge-offs, legal cases, repossessions, and car sales.
• Maintain accurate records of team absences, vacations, and permits.
• Uphold company values and ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 years of management and leadership experience in collections or related fields
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, build relationships, and motivate teams
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• High mathematical aptitude and proactive mindset
