This position is for an individual who can be responsible for the pre-underwriting, quoting, placement and initial servicing of Personal and/or Commercial Insurance accounts in the Independent Broker / Multi-Carrier insurance environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for New and Renewal Business Management, Identifying opportunities to write additional lines of business, proactively seeking to retain key renewals by working closely with insureds and agents. As a candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with clients & agents and deliver agency and product solutions at the account level. You must also be able to pre-qualify accounts to identify customer needs and take appropriate action by effectively using competitive market data to build and maintain profitable agency relationships.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Any Personal or Commercial Lines experience accepted. English and Spanish speaking fluency preferred but not required. Must be able to quote from carrier systems, have agency automation skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word & Outlook).
Individual must have an active Department of Insurance Property & Casualty License to apply.

· Strong technical multi-line underwriting skills.

· Insurance Automation Platform Skills (i.e. rating systems/platform, Agency Management systems, insurance websites).
· Servicing an existing book of business
· Quoting new business and reviewing existing business
· Meeting with walk-in clients to quote new business
· Comfortable answering phones when needed and other typical customer service duties
· Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude with fellow employees and customers
· Able to process endorsements and familiar with typical insurance procedures
· Comfortable, business casual dress
· Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. No Weekends.
