Job Description:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring guest’s experience at the property by booking reservations, checking guests into the property, resolving any guest concerns or issues during their stay. Must have a friendly and positive attitude while interacting with guests. Front desk agent is responsible for oversite and delegation of responsibilities between the hotel departments.
Currently looking for all shifts, part- and full-time hours are available. Must be able to work weekends.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $14.75to $16.00, depending on the applicants’ skills, qualifications, and prior job experience in the hospitality industry.
General Job Responsibilities:
· Great and provide customer service to guests in a polite friendly manner.
· Book reservations and coordinate guest check-in
· Communicate with prior and future shifts to ensure a smooth transition.
· Operate a software system to complete cash and credit card transactions and issue keys.
· Answer phone calls and assist callers’ needs in booking a reservation or answer general questions about the hotel or area.
· Responsible for insuring guest satisfaction to customers who received unsatisfactory service.
· Above all, present a professional and positive attitude towards guests, clients and co-workers.
Depending on the current situation, job duties may change to coincide with the shift duties. This role may have physical demands that include extended standing and walking.
