We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Accountant within the General Building Construction Industry
- Account Payable Entry including Document Management Program
- Understanding of the General ledger and Reconciliation
- Bank Statement Reconciliation
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- NYS Sales Tax Entry and Preparation
- Job Cost
- Purchase Orders Reconciliation
- Vendor Invoice Processing
- Subcontractor Payment Applications (AIA)
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting
- Strong work ethic including managing multiple projects
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- The expectation that the job requirements will expand
- Construction related experience preferred but not required
- 5 Years experience in accounting preferred
- Three Business References
