Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Fairfield, NJ. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial analysis, and month-end close processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and month-end close processes
- Completin of Monthly financials with distribution to various internal and external agencies.
- Monthly Sales tax reporting for different State authorities
- Coordination and assisting independent outside CPA with year-end Financials and relted documents
- Specil projects as they arise.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records
- Ability to work independently and with others ; prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is a plus
- Supervisry experience of 3 or more required
