Berkeley Eye Center, a Houston Vision Care Leader seeks experienced Office Manager for established practice in Tomball, Texas to build on location's current success. This office utilizes optometrists and ophthalmologists.
Big Picture: Oversee clinic operations to insure both excellent patient care & superior customer service in step with maintaining a workplace culture that values integrity, kindness & flexibility while working hard AND having fun!.
Daily Tasks may include:
Manages all aspects of the office including Optical, Clinic, Dr's and Business Office
Address issues with patients or staff as they arise including billing, patient care, conflict resolution, coverage for employee absences.
Daily Vision Aging Report
Surgery Counselor for LASIK, Cataract and other Vision procedures.
Work with IT on related issues with computers and Diagnostic issues
Monthly Surgical Referrals/Contact Lens Inventory
Be available to help each department throughout the day when needed which may include:
- Back up Scribe
- Back up front Desk
- Answer phones/Schedule appointments
Highly-Qualified Candidates will have 5 years of medical office management/leadership experience, a stable work history, the ability to coach and help people understand their value to the success of the practice.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
- MONDAY – THURSDAY: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
- FRIDAY: 7:00AM – 1:00PM
- Office is open 1-2 Saturdays/month with from 8 am -2 pm. (Manager not expected to work that day. May elect to do so.)
