What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experience Customer Service Representative position at Best Friends Animal Hospital?
Best Friends Animal Hospital of Fort Myers, Florida has an immediate opening for a Full or Part time experienced veterinary receptionist. We have a friendly, goal oriented staff that is willing to train the right individual to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that has at least 1 year experience in the veterinary industry. Avimark experience is a plus!
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital
- Greeting clients, determining the needs of the clients and patients, and completing the check-in and check-out process.
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude
- Comfortable with use of office phones for incoming and outgoing calls
- Ability to answer basic client questions about veterinary care
- Restocking of prescription diets in the lobby
- Maintenance of the hospitality table in the lobby
- Maintains appearance and cleanliness of the waiting room and reception area, including re-stocking of products, office supplies, client educational materials, hospital brochures, etc.
- Scheduling appointments for Doctors, Technicians and Grooming
- Reviewing patient reminders and knowing our hospital’s vaccine recommendations and protocols
- Handling client requests for medication refills
- Accurately handling sales of prescription foods and heartworm, flea, and tick prevention refills
- Efficiently and accurately invoices clients, collects fees, and makes change
