Summary: The Evening Recreation Mentor is responsible for providing support, coaching, training, and guiding the evening recreation team members. This supervisory role ensures that all neighborhoods are being provided purposeful and meaningful activities that are personalized to improve quality of life for the residents at Bethesda. This position plays a significant role in contributing to a positive culture for individuals to live and work.
Hours of Work: Part-time, Monday through Friday (3:30pm - 8:30pm); one weekend per month; flexibility to support on weekends as needed.
Preferred Experience and Education: Preferred but not required to have previous work with geriatrics or people with disabilities; supervisory experience; previous work in a long-term care, healthcare setting. Minimum education requirement of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
