Better Dental is excited to be hiring for a Front Desk/ Treatment Coordinator. Currently we are searching for an experienced, dedicated, compassionate, patient focused, and detail-oriented team member. Our team is motivated to do their best for the patient, for each other, and for the practice. Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with every patient.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients and teammates. It also requires excellent time management and organizational skills. This position will be required to uphold our standards around patient experience and customer service. Applicant must have a strong work ethic as well as an outgoing personality and positive attitude.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Answer phones
- Answer patient questions
- Confirm appointments
- Verify dental insurance benefits
- Schedule patient appointments
- Proactively work to fill hygiene and operative appointment openings
- Check-in patients when they arrive
- Review treatment plans and financing options with patients
- Check-out patients when appointments are complete
- Process payments for patients
- Perform other front desk functions
Our Treatment Coordinators are responsible for building relationships, being a Brand Ambassador for the practice, helping patients understand different treatment options and and removing the barriers of fear, finance and lack of understanding to ensure each patient gets the care they need. In addition, our Treatment Coordinators strategically following up with patients to ensure treatment is scheduled.
This position reports to our front desk lead and/or practice manager and partners directly with the supported operations lead and dentist(s) of the practice, and acts as liaison between the supported practices.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to);
- Helping patients understand various phases in their treatment
- Providing financial estimates and arranging payment options
- Following up with prospective patients
acting as a liaison to other offices.
Education and Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental office procedures
- Knowledge of insurance plans and claims processing
- Communication, problem analysis and problem solving skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Judgement and decision-making skills
