The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our company. This leader will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing strategic plans, managing financial risks, and ensuring the organization achieves its financial goals while promoting sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management, experience in the manufacturing sector, and a passion for environmental stewardship.
Essential Functions
- Income statement development, management and oversight
- Cash flow forecasts
- Manage capitalization projects
- Develop an AP/AR team to manage the day-to-day business
- Work with Operations on cost saving and cost optimization projects
- Point person on all financing for long-term goals including capital raises
- Report financials in a professional format with context to BOD quarterly
- Prepare 1,2 ad 5 year financial models based on Sales FC and Strategic roadmap
- Data feedback to Commercial team to track YOY sales growth and annual forecast requirements
- Point person for all bank related projects
- Develop accurate COGS model for each product in portfolio to better track/forecast pricing impacts from supply chain and raw materials changes
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing or sustainable industries
- Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Some travel may be required
