We are seeking a reliable and proactive Administrative Assistant & Bookkeeper to help keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Administrative Assistance:
- Handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Opening mail, maintaining records, and filing
Bookkeeping:
- Managing accounts payable
- Processing invoices and making payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Depositing rent checks
- Preparing basic financial reports and summaries
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Reconciling bank statements
- Ensuring all financial transactions are properly documented
Qualifications:
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant and/or bookkeeper
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- A positive and can-do attitude is essential!
What We Offer:

- $24 an hour to start

- Flexible days. and start time.
- You can work either 4 or 5 days a week. Your day will start somewhere between 8:30 and 9:30am.
- You’ll be working in the owner’s large, private home in a beautiful wooded area in the Sonoma hills, where you’ll have your own private office.
- Dress is casual, and the house is dog-friendly.
- Owner lives alone, so it will be you and the owner during work hours
