We have a permanent position for a Fleet Administrator in Houston, Texas.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Fleet Administrator will be responsible for coordinating servicing and maintenance with external vendors, managing our asset inventory, and performing inspections, among other duties. This role will require administrative work inside, as well as inspection work outdoors in all weather. Our assets include rentable and leasable relocatable modular structures.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and customer service skills, with experience in managing inventory and coordinating logistics for asset movement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating the servicing and maintenance of the fleet assets
- Working with vendors as required to ensure service of the unit is complete
- Issuing POs
- Generate various reports related to assets and inventory
- Coordinating the Logistics of all units leaving or returning to the branch
- Monitoring daily fleet activity
- Maintaining and organizing unit files
- Monthly, quarterly and annual fleet count
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and attention to detail
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience in lease fleet management or administration a strong asset
· Ability to work in both inside (70%) and outside (30%) environments
· SAP or ERP system experience preferred, not required.
· Must be fluent in English both oral and written
- Ability to pass both pre-employment and random drug & alcohol tests on demand;
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal records check;
