Job Summary: The Buyer and Inventory Controller will oversee the activities of purchasing and inventory in the Maintenance department.
Qualities & Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with many levels of members in the facility (Floor members-Owners) as well as represent Brava in a professional light to venders and/or guests.
- Ability to take on challenges of starting from scratch to develop a workable, streamline parts crib with inventory to keep equipment running.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure.
- Ability to track down parts and substitute when needed upon approval.
- Ability to take on other facility purchasing outside of maintenance.
- Keep accurate records for invoice meetings.
- General understanding of maintenance.
- Able to collaborate with Maintenance personnel to achieve task.
- Purchase supplies, materials, and parts for the company
- Maintain knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs according.
- Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials used.
- Negotiates and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery times.
- Reviews purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental polices.
- Purchase large and complex items.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
- Collaborates with sales, customer service, and logistics department to maximize efficiency in the purchasing.

- Kan-Ban (managing workflow)
- Inventory Min/Max experience.
- Occupational mild maintenance help
- Position could expand into Production buying.
- Knowledge between inventory and consumables
- Ability or willingness to assist the implementation of CMMS System.
- Responsible for laptop to use at home and weekends.
- Be available by phone after hours or possibly come in to locate parts for critical equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Maintenance experience
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Microsoft)
Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, with the ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
- Full-time
Pay:
- $15.00/hr.-$25.00/hr. depending on experience
