What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Secretary / Office Administrator position at Building Connections Behavioral Health?
- The hours will be between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Clerical work at the office.
- Cover office tasks when an employee is out.
- Greet clients as they arrive.
- Take payments from clients.
- Open and close the clinic daily.
- Ensure the clinic is clean and tidy.
- Restock materials as needed.
- Scheduling
- Assist staff, as needed, with children at the clinic.
- Cover shifts when staff is sick and/or on vacation, work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Complete daily data collection.
- Attend team meetings.
- Obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- Preferred: 1 year working with children in an ABA or school setting.
- Preferred: 1 year working as an office assistant.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professionalism.
- Ability to complete pre-employment, and annual on-site training.
- Must be willing to complete background checks and provide medical information.

Building Connections Behavioral Health, Inc. was founded in April of 2013 and is head quartered in Walnut Creek, CA. We focus on increasing independence for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). We currently provide services across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We provide the following services: - In home and clinic provided ABA services for individuals age 0 to 22 years. - Early Intervention services for individuals age 12 to 36 months. - Diagnostic, Developmental, and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA). - School based services including 1:1 RBTs, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavioral Supports, Staff Trainings and In-Services - Parent, Family, and Caregiver Training and Education. - Classes and Training for individuals of all ages. - Social Skills Groups for clients age 3 to 21 years.
