Description
The Pre-Authorization Specialist/Office Assistant is responsible for clerical work, record and statistic keeping, maintaining and following up on all doctor’s orders and calling/faxing information to insurance companies for authorizations.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with additional training preferred. One (1) year typing and record keeping experience required with demonstrated proficiency in both areas. Computer experience required. Previous prior authorization experience preferred.
This is a full-time position with the Home Health & Hospice departments.
