- Experience in developing and enacting debt recovery plans and strategies

- Familiarity with Debt Collection Laws

- High School Certificate/ NVQ Level 1/ Level 2

Essential Functions:
- Collect payments on past due bills
- Negotiate payment terms and methods when right party is reached
- Handle a high volume of calls daily, inbound and outbound
- Meet monthly collection goals as set by the department while employing a high level of professionalism.
- Respond to customer inquiries and take appropriate actions.
- Document detailed notes about customer payment and non-payment activity and record all follow up information in systems.
- Adherence to federal and state laws while dealing with the debt collection.
- Be receptive to feedback and coaching.
