What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Development Specialist position at California Pediatrics and Family Services?
Early Intervention Teachers work in each child's home, daycare or within their community to promote progress in all areas of development. The children in our program are between the ages of birth to 3yrs of age with developmental delays. Children at this age learn through play and social modeling. Early intervention teachers help families to facilitate play during daily activities. Each Intervention teacher is provided with toys and equipment to engage and develop appropriate play skills. Requirements: A minimum of an AA or BA (or equivalent) and experience with young children is required. Proof of Covid vaccination required. Bilingual recommended, but not necessary.
