Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

As a Production Supervisor 2^nd Shift with Trane Technologies, you will use your passion for quality and cost effectiveness in manufacturing to help lead our team in Trenton, NJ. You will monitor and coordinate the daily operation of a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment, and partner with other department leads/supervisors to achieve team and plant goals.

Where is the work:
This position will be onsite each day in Trenton, NJ. This role is considered safety sensitive. 

What you will do:

• Ensure overall performance of the production or plant team on 2nd shift, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.

• Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.

• Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.

• Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.

• Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.

• Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. High school diploma or GED required.

• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.

• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.

• Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member.

 

This is a Safety Sensitive Role. 

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000
