Sun Noodle is a manufacturer of fresh, tailor-made Ramen noodles, Importer and wholesaler of ramen soups, sauces, and other products. With 4 factories; Hawaii, California, New Jersey and Rotterdam. Sun Noodle is growing rapidly, which creates growth and job security for all our employees. We are searching for an R&D Assistant to research new materials, create recipes, and conduct test mixing.

Job Title:

R&D - Product Development Assistant

Bilingual Japanese/English preferred

Job Description:

• Support market research efforts for new Ramen products.
• Assist in testing new dry and raw materials under the guidance of the R&D team.
• Help prepare and develop Ramen noodle and soup samples for testing and evaluation.
• Maintain detailed records of recipe trials, ingredient testing, and product development results.
• Assist in monitoring production processes to ensure SOPs and process specifications are followed.
• Organize track lab and kitchen supplies used in R&D activities.
• Help with data collection and analysis to support product improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong interest in Ramen and knowledge of Ramen noodles, broth styles, and seasoning techniques.
• Degree in food science, culinary arts, or a related field (preferred).
• Culinary experience a plus
• Experience with Ramen cooking or working in a kitchen environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from R&D team manager.
• Strong organizational skills for record-keeping and ingredient tracking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
