Job Summary
- To assist the IT department with various needs including but not limited to hardware management and deployment
Essential Functions
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Performs Cleaning and upkeep tasks for computers in assigned areas of the hospital and medical clinics
- Performs cleaning and upkeep of copiers and printers in assigned areas of the hospital and medical clinics
- Performs cleaning and upkeep of IP phones in assigned areas of the hospital and medical clinics
- Retrieves IT shipments including but not limited to hardware received into materials management
- Updates the IT department via email of shipments received
- Tests hardware such as monitors to determine if disposal is required
- Assists the IT staff as needed
- Keeps an organized work area and desk
- Other duties as assigned
- Adheres to safety plans (i.e., body mechanics, universal precautions, fall preventions, etc.) with no error trending.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Experience
- Experience in healthcare environment preferred
