4 months contract position for a PeopleSoft Developer in Austin, Texas (hybrid: 1 day onsite and 4 days remote)

Job Description:

• As a PeopleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for performing analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration to support the integration.
• Your day-to-day activities will include software development using PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQR, SQL, and Oracle. You'll be supporting application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode across multiple environments, which includes coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements
• Develop interfaces and support data migration
• Develop software using PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, and Oracle
• Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode
• Work across multiple environments handling coding, testing, peer reviews, and documentation
• Conduct defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Maintain code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures
• Provide on-call support as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations

Required Experience/Skills:

• 8 years of experience
• Experience in PeopleSoft Application Development with PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financials implementation and/or upgrade including software development of Contracts, ePro, GL, Payables, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Commitment Control
• Experience using Oracle, Unix, Shell, and data migration

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience developing in PeopleSoft 9.2 environment
• Experience in Jira & Agile methodologies
