Sapphire North America is looking for an Order Specialist to assist in order fulfillment from start to finish. This includes receiving and processing customer orders, packing and shipping, tracking orders, and communicating with customers. This role would report to the Operations Coordinator.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process orders received by website, phone, email, fax, etc.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client history: interactions, transactions, inquiries, complaints, comments, and plans of action
- Send and collect payment for invoices, including procurement portals
- Pack and ship orders according to instructions and customer preferences
- Resolve customer queries and complaints
- Maintain and update inventory as needed
- Procure shipping materials as needed
- Assist with purchase orders and importation of products
- Support Operations Coordinator with other order responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 2 years experience in customer service, order entry, logistics, and/or sales
- Familiarity with order management systems (Business Central preferred) and Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, be organized, and pay attention to detail
- Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hours
